KARMA (the good & the car)

A couple of days ago I was walking from the Barnes & Noble and something told me to stop and take a seat outside in the shade which was fine with me because it was pretty hot that day. I take a seat and glance at the cars parked in front of me and there she is, the car of me dreams The KARMA by Fisker.

Well, I wait to see who is going to come out and drive off in this exquisite dream and I must say I was a little surprised because the gentleman was a wee bit younger than myself. Of course I had a few questions as several other men did as well, but this is where things got quite interesting because before we parted ways we had a meeting set for the following day. Yesterday we met and I now have him as a client!

This is a quick post to remind us all that there is “Good Karma” out there if we just take the time to listen to that inner voice. I’m really excited about what’s happening in the world because I’m seeing men and women with dreams and passion move those dreams into reality. So I say to all who read this “may God grant you the desires of your heart and remember to do your part”.

Things & Happiness

Now it may look like I’m shooting myself in the foot with this post, because I help people acquire “things” that they desire and there has been a lot of discussion about the less one has the happier one is. I’m a pretty happy guy and I have very few possessions as my focus has been on freedom and enjoying life’s experiences rather than accumulating stuff. An amazing statement coming from the “Acquisitionist” for sure!

The question is can acquiring “things” bring one happiness?

It really depends on what that “thing” is! Take for example the Business Owner who has come up with a new technology to turn trash into energy and the “thing” he desires is funding to make his dream a reality because it’s not just about him it’s about making the world a better place which will touch more peoples lives and as a result bring him more happiness. For the past several months my tag line has been “Connecting People to Positive Projects” and this brings me joy because I feel I’m helping people connect to something that can actually make a difference in the world.

I know this may cost me a few clients, but for some strange reason I have to feel like I’m making a difference in everything I do including business as it’s my way of flowing in integrity. So, I’d like to sum up the idea of things and happiness in this short statement:
